Mercedes Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo Concept

There are plenty of things we expect from the future. Hot cars is one of those things, and things not having ridiculous names is another. Mercedes Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo Concept works very well with the former, but totally fails on the latter. Apparently, there is no having the cake and eating it too. The concept has a decidedly muscular and futuristic look, all packed in a boatload of curvy lines.

Somewhere in those curves Mercedes has managed to find room for gullwing doors, plus the long body has enough room to host a monstrous engine that offers 577 horsepower and 800 lb-ft of torque from a 5.5 liter V8 twin-turbo engine. The future also requires a generous use of LEDs that show up at every conceivable position in the concept like the front grille and the rear.

While they were there, the LEDs also decided to shine in cool patterns to make things look better. The cockpit shows off a F1-styled steering wheel and an array of gadgets. The design was made in collaboration with creators of the PlayStation game GranTurismo.
