We have heard from misplaced sources that women find makeup quite a problem. You wakeup, you spend a hell lot of time putting on makeup. A nagging problem like that would be totally solved if everyone looked
equally hideous the same. Never mind that the solution raises more problems than the non-existent ones it solves, but Chinese designer Zhuoying Li has come up with the Uniface Mask.
At the basic level, the mask is supposed to endow the wearer with what is “traditionally” associated with good looks. Big anime eyes, long eyelashes, and a clear face with high nose bridge, narrow chin and cheeks. All of this would be put on bionic skin which the design claims to be a material that closely mimics human skin. You could use a special glue to wear the mask, and never have to worry about putting on makeup again. We assume it will also save you on the annual Halloween costume expenditure.
Oh, and here’s the real kicker: Once you put the mask on, it cannot be removed except by a special trained professional. According to the designer, this is a replacement to plastic surgery, that is becoming increasingly popular as people try to gain the so called perfect looks.
