South Korea based photographer Myoung Ho Lee places blank white canvases behind trees, and photographs the result bringing the object into the foreground and thus converts natural wonders into something that resembles photographs.

The images are slightly retouched digitally to remove the machines and personnel that help keep the canvas standing, so as to remove allusions to scale, thus giving the pictures an abstract look, and one that could be fairly well considered to be a painting rather than a photograph of a tree.
