Company at dinner used to be a good time for people to know each other, bond or just talk. Then came around the smartphone, and effectively destroyed every dinner conversation etiquette ever. We won’t give up our smartphones during meals even knowing fully well what must be done, but perhaps a tablecloth ordering us to do that could make a difference.
Zip-it tablecloth has pockets on its sides to encourage you to put your phone away, and have a normal meal just like it is supposed to be done. Zip-it is the work of designer Paula O’Connor.
