Aston Martin is celebrating a hundred years of its existence, and to mark the occasion, they have come up with the CC100 Speedster a.k.a. the Concept Car 100 years. Apart from being super hot, the car is a tribute to Aston’s LeMan’s winner of 1959, the DBR1 racecar which lends some design cues to the new concept.
CC100 is based off the platform of V12 Vantage and made a showing along with its sibling at the 24 hours of Nürburgring with a demonstration lap. For the concept built in less than six months, the CC100 sure does look cute. It is powered by the AM11 naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 motor mated to a six-speed automated sequential manual transmission.
Top speed of the concept is limited to 180mph, and it takes just over four seconds to complete the zero to 60mph dash. The centennial car happens to be a one-off concept that is very unlikely to see the production line.Carscoops
