Sound waves can be good enough to move objects slightly, or at least use its energy to induce vibrations. Well, sound does travel by vibrations in air itself, but the same can be used liquids as well, including liquid metals like mercury. And when we’ve got high speed cameras to capture the action, things can appear a whole lot better.
