We enjoy minimalism, but really how minimalist can you actually get without completely loosing touch? We’d like to think these minimalist posters by Gidi Vigo make the limits very clear. The artist has reduced portraits of superheroes to simply the colors they can be identified by.
While the idea does work pretty well, we doubt we could ever have guessed the superheroes if their names weren’t mentioned beneath the colors on the posters. It’s like you see red color on the poster, you read Hellboy and then you realize how well suited the color actually is.
We can’t really pass judgement on these posters, it is kind of like the gray area where one cannot really be sure.
