When independent concepts emerge, we expect them to be radical. Even if they are imaginary, they usually can do a pretty good job of visualizing dynamic shapes and styles of the cars they are based on. That sadly won’t quite be the case for the Bugatti Super Sedan.

The concept envisions a mighty super sedan for Bugatti, and its design does have some clear inspiration from the Bugatti 16C Galibier. Even so, the strong sculpted lines, a somewhat futuristic look, and even the gullwing doors don’t hold much against the Galibier.

Perhaps the folly here was following the steps of the Galibier, rather than letting the concept go its own way. Bugatti SuperSedan concept is the work of designer Dejan Hristov.
