Corpus: Where Future Humans are Cyborgs

Imagining our growing dependency on technology, Corpus 2.1 series by Netherlands based artist Marcia Nolte envisions humans “biologically” evolving with modern technology and fashion requirements.

The technology part sounds quite cyborg-ish, with humans developing their own QR Codes on skin (that would be kind of like DNA, I suppose), Chlorophyllskin (skin with chlorophyll) and digi-eye where the eye itself would presumably perform digital functions you would expect from a display.

If you thought this was weird, that’s because you haven’t seen the fashion inspired Corpus 2.0 from the same artist. Growing heel-like feet, extended thumbs for easier texting and lips with a smokinghole in them are pure creepy.
