The way we see it, things look kind of futuristic when data starts to show itself on clear glass. They may be spectacles you are wearing, the bathroom mirror, or the car windscreen. Data on these things looks way more sexier and futuristic than it actually is. In all earnestness, windscreen displays like these would make navigation way more easier, and slightly safer.
This could all be true with a technology called True3D. It works as conventional GPS navigation, but uses Augmented Reality to project displays on the windscreen, making things a lot clearer and easy to understand.
Also, it looks way cooler than those shitty navigation systems. True3D currently exists as a prototype proof of concept, but its creators are working to make the product a reality and bring it to the market.
