The modern lifestyle and its pace leaves much to be desired, with most of us cutting back on the time to relax and rest, all just to stay in the race. At super hectic times, we think of what we wouldn’t give to get a quick nap. Now we know the answer. If the solution to the problem is sleeping in a vertical bed placed on a sidewalk, god help us.
Brooklyn based designer Jamie O’Shea has come up with a concept that would ostensibly let people catch quick naps while on the move. In reality, we think the idea would be too busy stripping people off their self respect to actually care. Working of the thing is fairly simple, the user attachs it to a subway ventillation grate, with two vertical metal legs supporting the weight.
Then the noise cancelling headphones, free standing umbrella and opaque glasses swing into action for a restful nap. Voil! Quick naps on the move.
