You know what beats the best supercars any given day of the week? A flying car, of course. It’s been two years but the Terrafugia Transition has now officially been termed road legal. The NHTSA let the flying car be, despite its lightweight plastic windows, which have been replaced by safety glass by all other cars. The Transition has also been allowed to use heavier grade tires than conventional cars. So is it going to fly now? Nope. They still have to get past the Federal Aviation Administration which finds the vehicle 110 lbs over the maximum weight for a light sport class aircraft. So it ain’t flying right now, but you could put aside $200,000 if you want one of these.
