This image makes it very clear, Mars is the naughty boy of the solar system, we don’t know any other planet who’d draw craters like that. Captured by the HiRISE camera, these craters were most probably formed as the red planet was hit by two meteors, simultaneously. It is more likely that a meteor split into two nearly equal parts on entry into the Martian atmosphere, thereby creating this unique double impact crater.
