R/C Corvette ZR1 PC case mod is a drivable computer

We’ve seen model cars functioning as computer cases, but this one isn’t all that simple. This R/C Corvette ZR1 PC casemod is actually drivable, making it all the more desirable. Made by Mod Brothers Forum founder Bill Owen, the system was built using a 1:6 R/C Corvette. While it is a computer now, the car hasn’t forgot its R/C roots, it can still move around.

And here are the specs of the system:

A slimline laptop DVD is incorporated into the roof. The paint is factory “Jetstream Blue” with hand painted ZR1 logos. The system is a Jetway NC64 Core 2 Duo Mobile ITX Mainboard with Intel Quad-core Q9000 mobile processor. Mushkin’s 60GB Callisto SSD and 4GB DDR3 PC3-8500. HD Video is generated by GIGABYTE 512I Radeon HD 512MB 64-bit. PC is powered by a 150W “Brick” Power Supply and 9.6V R/C battery for cruising around the parking lot.
