HRP-4 is a drink pouring, athletic workbot

The HRP-4 humanoid robot from Kawada Industries and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology is designed on the lines of a “slim athlete.” The bot can track faces and objects, respond to voice commands, and stand on one leg, which allows it to strike some weird robotic poses. The five-feet tall robot weighs 39 kilos and has 34 joints to make it more flexible. Checkout the video below to see the robot introduce itself and show its stuff. HRP-4 will be available for purchase in January, and will be priced at 26 million yen ($300,000).
