Alec Garrard has been making this model of the Herod’s Temple for the last 30 years, and still going strong. It has taken more than 33,000 hours of work, is spread over 200 square feet and has more than 4000 figures. Everything is hand built, from the plywood figures to the hand-baked clay bricks. Quite an impressive feat and remarkable perseverance.
