Lotus Wants You To Remember It Was Once an Iconic Bond Car, Dammit

Much like James Bond, the cars he drives (or drove) can be quite memorable. A very memorable car is the Lotus Esprit S1, which 007 drove in The Spy Who Loved Me. Apart from its good looks, the car’s submersible skill won quite a few hearts and fired up imagination of the viewers. Bond has since moved to other cars, Lotus apparently, has not – and it does want you to remember it once made a very iconic Bond car, Dammit.

Lotus is celebrating 40 years of the movie with a one-off special homage to the Esprit S1. The car paying homage is the Evora Sport 410, finished in the same livery as the original car, but with all the bells and whistles you could expect from a modern car. Still missing though, are off-film amphibian skills, and the time the Spy loved Lotus.
