You know sh*t just got weird when trees start talking. You’re probably stoned out of your mind that moment, or happen to be at Hyde Park South, Sydney, getting a taste of a contemporary art installation by Craig Walsh. Named “Emergence” the installation’s highlight is mapping/projecting faces on the park’s trees.
Three different faces are projected, each telling a story on the park’s history as a meeting place for civic unrest, protest, and direction action. The installation was a part of the month-long Art & About festival.
