The iPhone is quite something of a gaming machine by itself, but many would be looking for gaming on physical controls, as opposed to the touchscreen of the iPhone. That’s where the Bladepad comes in with a promise to give an edge to iPhone gaming.
The accessory will connect to the phone via Bluetooth and allow gamers access to a directional keypad, x,y,a,b buttons and two joysticks. Bladepad was on Kickstarter for funding, but was pulled off by the project creators who explain on their Facebook page that they pulled it off Kickstarter, to ensure they had more time for development. It is supposed to be released later this year with a price tag in the range of $84.
