Watercolors Form Tiny Mosaics

Photographer Fabian Oefner brought together watercolors in these tiny circles of fluid mosaics. Had they been any larger, we’d probably have called them psychedelic, but we guess mosaics work just as well. For the project Millefiori, Oefner used ferrofluids injected with different watercolors. The ferrofluids can be manipulated by magnetic fields, which Oefner used to arrange them in these wondrous circular patterns we see here.
