It pays to be always ready. Sooner or later, the zombies will be upon us, if robots don’t rise first. Guns are good, but chainsaws work very well if you intend to conserve ammo. And that is something we’d want to do in the event of the apocalypse.
Doublestar has taken care of that part with the Zombie X Chainsaw Rail Attachment. The attachment can be added to a rifle and has a power button on the left hand side. A battery pack attached to the rifle stock keeps the chainsaw running. It likely won’t take down trees, but hopefully would do serious damage to zombies.
Doublestar made the attachment for SHOT Show 2012, and apparently has no intention to bring the product to the market. Although, it totally should.
