Apple iPhone has some serious computing power, and most of us point and shoot photographers use phones for shooting pics anyway. A phone with more capability to take shots would probably go down well with everyone. Apple iCam concept from Italian designer Antonio DeRosa goes down the same road, imagining a future of modular cameras powered by smartphones.
To turn the phone into a serious camera, the iCam envisions adding a large sensor and interchangeable lens system to the phone camera. It would work more as an iPhone case, but also provide the power of a camera benefiting from the power of the iPhone and countless photography and image apps available.
