We like design ideas that take us to a new clean, green world. We’re also intrigued by the fact that as awesome as these ideas look and sound, they sometimes seem to lack pragmatism to a certain degree. But they do make up for that in utopian vision and style, so we’re absolutely cool with that.
The 300 meter tall freestanding structure you see here is the design of Tower of Power, a concept skyscraper built by NL Architects for the Taiwan Tower Competition. The building’s facade will have some 2000 flower shaped wind turbines, that will generate 8 MW of power and one hell of a noise for the structure.
The interiors will offer an amazing view, open spaces, room for museums, offices, conference centers and an observatory hall.
