It would seem that Domino’s Japan has plans to target future space dwellers, and they’re going to start off by offering pizza on the moon. The envisioned moon store would include dart boards, pool tables, delivery motorbikes and the absence of customers not unlike its stores here on Earth.
They have supposedly spent a year planning this operation, wondering how to take 70 tons worth of supplies to space where nobody is going to buy them. Dominos estimates that 15 rocket launches and 14 billion dollars ought to seal the deal even though they don’t really have a date of being on the moon. Selling pizza on the moon aside, the idea does make up for a very creative advertising stunt.
