Photographer Olivo Barbieri has a way with large format pictures. It must take incredible skill and hardwork to capture images this way. They almost seem like scale models rather than real landscapes. This particular series was part of an attempt to promote the recognition of Dolomites as a world heritage site. Most of Barbieri’s works are shot while hovering 300 to 500 feet in a helicopter.
