Hey folks, here’s a nice piece of trivia for you: Homer Simpson is a true Catholic. That’s what the Vatican says, and if he’s good enough for them, I guess he really is a “true” Catholic. The Vatican’s official newspaper acknowledged that Homer sleeps through sermons and troubles his evangelical neighbors, but “The Simpsons are among the few TV programmes for children in which Christian faith, religion, and questions about God are recurrent themes.” That the family says prayers before dinner got them brownie points.
