
Back in August last year, we had a post about BrainPort and how the device would let the blind “see.” Craig Lundberg, a British soldier who lost his eyes in Iraq in 2007, now has the BrainPort to aid him in seeing things. While the image is in no way perfect, the black and white, two-dimensional image the device forms on the user’s tongue does make life a lot easier. Craig says the device gives a “pins and needles sensation.”
