DIY Harp Made From Lasers


Good old strings are cool, but why stick to them when you can make things more awesome by using lasers. This DIY harp does away with strings and uses lasers instead. Laser diodes point their beam towards Cadmium Sulfide photo resistors, and once a beam is broken, an Arduino detects the change through the photo resistors and plays a corresponding sound through the case’s Altec Lansing speakers.
