Mechanical Tumor Shows The Computer’s Stress In A Totally Gross Way

Things get gross when a quivering, fleshy, organic looking “thing” sits by your computer. It expands and deflates according to the stress the computer system is experiencing. If the system has a low workload, the hideous fleshy thing pulsates gently, as the load increases, its actuators and motors move into action, activating its air compressor and inflating the “tumor.” The Mechanical Tumor is the work of interactive media artist Mio I-zawa.
