Igloo satellite cabin was initially designed for expeditions into remote areas, mainly because it can withstand sub-zero temperatures, winds, ice and snow. Now, these “Igloos” are being offered for eco-tourism. It is constructed out of fiberglass and insulated, and with its comparatively light weight, it can be transported via boat, truck, helicopter and possibly snow mobiles as well. It is 3 meters in diameter 2.1 meters high. It can easily be tied on to ground, or bolted onto a foundation.
